ORLANDO by Virginia Woolf

Marvellous Machine Theatre Company present:

Virginia Woolf’s
ORLANDO
Adapted by Sarah Ruhl

Wednesday 31 July to Sunday 4 August 2019

Theatro Technis, Camden, London

“I’m sick of this particular self. I want another”

Orlando: Poet. Lover. Adventurer. After an evening’s encounter with a traveller woman, Orlando is transformed forever.

Following the sell-out The Tiger’s Bride, Marvellous Machine Theatre Company return, using live music, comedy, drag, and movement to bring to life this high-spirited romp through history from the court of Queen Elizabeth I to 20th Century London via Constantinople and the high seas.

Throughout the run of ORLANDO, Marvellous Machine Theatre Company has been proud to fundraise for Aloysius Ssali and Say It Loud Club, who support LGBTQ+ refugees in the UK, who have fled their home countries in which they are persecuted, and often fear death, for their identities and sexualities. Until very recently, Aloysius ran SILC alone whilst also working full time as a nurse. Please support this incredible organisation by donating below.
